A New Beginning for the B Team
CF Benidorm’s newly formed B team got their season underway this week, and their opening match provided plenty of drama.
The young side started their campaign with an entertaining 4-3 victory over UD Benissa B, getting their new season off to a winning start. However, they faced a much tougher test last night against CF Benidorm Foites. The B team found themselves 2-0 down at half-time before the game got away from them after the break, eventually suffering an 8-0 defeat.
Despite the difficult result, the B team remains an important part of CF Benidorm’s wider development project, providing young players with the opportunity to gain valuable senior football experience and continue their development within the club.
There will undoubtedly be plenty for the young squad to learn from their first two matches as they continue their inaugural campaign.
Growing Recognition for the Guillermo Amor
The atmosphere and support surrounding CF Benidorm at the Guillermo Amor has also attracted attention this week.
The club’s growing support was recognised by Cadena SER, one of Spain’s leading media outlets, highlighting the interest and atmosphere being generated around the club.
For a club continuing to grow both on and off the pitch, that recognition is another positive sign of the momentum building around CF Benidorm.
The aim is clear: continue building a strong connection between the club, the local community and supporters around the world.
Another New Arrival
CF Benidorm also announced the arrival of 23-year-old defender Bipe this week as the club continues to strengthen its squad.
Bipe can operate as both a centre-back and right-back, giving the team additional versatility across the defensive line.
The defender previously played for Villarrubia CF and has experience in Tercera Federación, bringing experience of the Spanish football pyramid to the CF Benidorm squad.
His ability to play in multiple defensive positions could provide Sergio Mora with another option as the season progresses, with the club competing across league and cup football.
Welcome to CF Benidorm, Bipe.

The first team have made an excellent start to their Lliga Comunitat campaign.
After opening the season with a 2-1 victory over Jávea, CF Benidorm followed that up with another 2-1 win away at Alicante.Last weekend, the team continued their perfect start with a 1-0 victory over Gandia at the Guillermo Amor. That means nine points from a possible nine, with five goals scored and just two conceded.
The victory over Gandia also saw CF Benidorm keep their first clean sheet of the campaign, while Kai became the match-winner with a late goal. The 16-year-old had only made his debut against Alicante the previous weekend before producing the decisive moment against Gandia.
It has been an impressive opening to the campaign.
The Road to Rayo Ibense
Attention now turns to the next challenge.
CF Benidorm travel to face Rayo Ibense on Sunday, 27 September, with kick-off scheduled for 17:00 local time / 16:00 UK time at the Francisco Vilaplana Mariel.
Rayo Ibense currently sit at the bottom of the table after three matches.
They opened their campaign with a 1-0 defeat away to Novelda UCF, followed that with a goalless draw against Olímpic Xàtiva, and then suffered another 1-0 defeat away to Alberic.
That leaves Rayo Ibense with one point from their opening three matches, having scored no goals and conceded just two.
Despite the contrasting starts, CF Benidorm will know they cannot afford to underestimate their opponents.
The objective will be to continue the perfect start, maintain their defensive record and return home with another three points.
