CF Benidorm have experienced another busy week, with positive news surrounding Arona’s return to training, developments off the pitch and another round of action for the club’s teams. The first team now prepare for their sixth league fixture of the season, while CF Benidorm B have bounced back from defeat with an emphatic victory.

CF Benidorm Face Novelda Unión CF

CF Benidorm travel to face Novelda Unión CF on Saturday, with kick-off at 12pm local time (11am UK time).

Benidorm have made an excellent start to the season, collecting 13 points from their opening five league matches and establishing themselves among the early pace-setters. However, Saturday’s away fixture presents another difficult test. Novelda are a dangerous opponent, and Benidorm will need to maintain their impressive early-season form if they are to continue their positive start to the campaign. The first team will be aiming to secure another important result on the road as they look to build on their performances so far.

Arona Returns To Training

There was positive news during the week as Arona returned to training following the serious head injury he suffered during the 0-0 draw with Almoradí. CF Benidorm UK broke the news on Wednesday that Arona was back on the training pitch, raising the possibility that he could be in contention for this weekend’s fixture.

However, reports suggest Saturday’s game could come too soon for the defender. Ultimately, Arona’s health and wellbeing must come first, and there should be no pressure to rush his return before he is ready.

After the concern surrounding his injury, it is fantastic to see him back training with his teammates and wearing a smile on his face. His recovery is the most important thing, and everyone will be hoping to see him continue progressing over the coming weeks.

CF Benidorm B: Mixed Results On The Pitch

CF Benidorm B have experienced contrasting results across their latest two fixtures as the young side continue their development.

The B team suffered a 4-0 defeat at home to Safor CF, before responding in style with a convincing 4-0 victory against Storhamar Fotball.

The turnaround is an encouraging result for a developing squad that is still adapting to the demands of its league campaign. While there will inevitably be lessons to learn along the way, a clean sheet and four goals will provide a welcome confidence boost.

As the club has previously highlighted, this is a new team competing in a new league. The focus remains on helping the players gain valuable experience, develop together and continue making progress throughout the season.

Today’s result provides a positive platform for the team to build on as their campaign continues.

CF Benidorm Supporters Wanted

There was also exciting news away from the pitch this week, with Duncan calling on CF Benidorm supporters to get involved in an upcoming professional promotional campaign showcasing both the club and the city of Benidorm.

The campaign will be aimed primarily at a British audience, helping introduce CF Benidorm and the lifestyle the city offers to people back in the UK and further afield.

Supporters are being invited to volunteer for filming at various locations around Benidorm, including bars, restaurants and entertainment venues. The filming will also feature supporters wearing their CF Benidorm colours and attending the club’s home fixture.

The planned filming dates are Friday 16 October, Saturday 17 October and Sunday 18 October. Volunteers do not need to be available for all three days.

As a thank-you for taking part, everyone involved will receive a brand-new official CF Benidorm adidas shirt to keep, with refreshments also being provided after filming.

Places are extremely limited, and British supporters are particularly encouraged to get involved to help represent the club to audiences back home.

Anyone interested in participating can contact Duncan directly using the email address provided in his original announcement.

It is another exciting development for CF Benidorm as the club continues to build its profile beyond the pitch and strengthen its connection with British supporters. With the club attracting growing interest from the UK, this campaign represents an opportunity to showcase what makes CF Benidorm and the city itself special.
