CF Benidorm have confirmed the venue arrangements for Sunday’s Lliga Comunitat fixture against Santa Pola CF, with supporters also receiving some welcome news regarding admission.
The match will take place on Sunday 8 November, with an 11:00am local kick-off (10:00am UK time).
However, rather than being played inside the Estadio Municipal Guillermo Amor, the fixture will be staged at the Campos de Fútbol Hermanos Juan y Miguel Martínez Munuera, situated immediately next to the club’s usual home stadium.
Winter seeding prompts temporary venue change
The change of venue comes as the pitch at the Estadio Municipal Guillermo Amor undergoes its winter seeding programme.
The maintenance work means CF Benidorm are temporarily unable to use their usual home pitch, with alternative arrangements having been explored ahead of Sunday’s fixture.
Following discussions and the finalisation of the necessary arrangements, the club have confirmed that the match against Santa Pola will take place at the neighbouring football facilities.
Free admission for all supporters
In welcome news for supporters, admission to Sunday’s fixture will be completely free.
Fans attending the match should head to the Campos de Fútbol Hermanos Juan y Miguel Martínez Munuera rather than the main Estadio Municipal Guillermo Amor.
Although the two facilities are situated immediately next to each other, supporters are advised to take note of the venue change when planning their visit.
Benidorm looking to maintain their position at the top
The confirmation comes as CF Benidorm prepare to continue their impressive start to the Lliga Comunitat campaign.
Following last weekend’s 4-2 victory against Benigànim CF, Benidorm returned to the top of the league standings.
Sunday’s meeting with Santa Pola presents another opportunity for the team to build on their momentum and strengthen their position in the promotion race.
With the venue now confirmed and free admission available, supporters can look forward to another important afternoon of football as CF Benidorm aim to continue their excellent form.
